![]() It's a real shame, 3 years after launch, the MS Surface Duo is still disappointing, yes, they fixed a lot of things, yes it's smoother than before, but it's got some Achilles heel, that will make this a bad buy even at 400, one quarter of it's original asking price. Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned Although the most single expensive price I have ever paid for a phone, all the features do make it worth it. ![]() As many different phones I had in the past few years, this one phone will easily be to use for many years to come. Having Microsoft Office on it is a big plus, as sometimes I do need to use it for professional purposes. Images and graphics are in high resolution, so whether you are looking at photos, videos, etc. ![]() The battery life is truly amazing, lasts a lot longer, about twice as long as my previous phone. I bought a Kensington belt holster to carry it around, but with the gorilla glass and side bumpers, the phone has plenty of protection from damage. When folded, the phone doesn't take up much more room than many of the single screen phones. Android 10 is a giant leap forward, and being 64 bit which aalows for multitasking is the perfect pairing with the hardware. I bought the 256 GB version since apps are becoming larger in size, but even loading this phone with all of my favorites leaves me with a lot of empty storage space. Using the camera took a little getting used to, you have to go fold both screens against each other but it allows you to see your image with clarity before capturing it. ![]() And speaking of game play, I love the powerful processor speed, games have never played this good with no lag. Playing some of my games on Android 10, to have the phone as a tent shape or L shape allows hands-free play, or if do decide to hold it, more stability. I am able to type using the one screen as a keyboard, keeps from making typos. I bought this phone mainly for the large screen size when unfolded which doesn't strain my eyes like my previous one. ![]()
